Deborah Misir | Legislator Stephanie Bontempi's Honoree | Branch of Service: Marines
Our office would like to nominate Deborah Misir to be honored on Veterans Appreciation Day. Deborah served honorably in the US Marines after graduating law school, partly in the JAG corps. She ably served the administration of George W. Bush in multiple positions, including as chief of staff for OSHA, and as counsel to the Foreign Terrorist Tracking Task Force, helping to protect our nation from those threats. In private practice, she has argued countless cases before federal courts of appeal and teaches constitutional law at Touro. She is also the Huntington Town Attorney.
