Mr. Thomas Lemp | Legislator Stephanie Bontempi's Honoree
I am pleased to nominate Thomas Lemp of Greenlawn as the Healthcare Hero from the 18th Legislative District. Thomas spent 36 years working for the Northrop Grumman Corporation working in all aspects of finance within the company. He joined the Greenlawn Fire Department in 1998 and spent 10 years there where he constructed, managed, and started the junior program which still continues to this day. He also became Firefighter 1 certified, as well as Confined Space Rescue 1&2. In 2000 He joined the Huntington Community First Aid Squad where he ascended the ranks in his over 20 year career, from Emergency Medical Technician, EMT-Critical Care, Captain, Chief of Department and finally Vice President. He is a CPR instructor and an American Red Cross Responding to Emergencies instructor as well. For his long career of helping others in their time of need, I am proud to nominate Thomas Lemp as a Healthcare Hero.
