Legislator Tom Cilmi and Bohemia Civic Association hosted a presentation by Suffolk County Department of Health on Innovative Alternative Onsite Septic Systems and the County’s new Septic Improvement Program, which provides grant funding for cesspool replacements. More than one hundred residents from Bohemia and surrounding communities attended the meeting.
Cilmi said, “This was a great opportunity for the community to learn about these new systems and about how the County can help residents do their part to protect and improve water quality.”
