Suffolk Legislator Tom Donnelly recently joined Legislator Susan A. Berland, Esq. and NYS Senator Jim Gaughran at the Huntington Community First Aid Squad HCFASs Annual Installation and Inspection Dinner. Held on Saturday, March 2 at Larkfield in East Northport, new officers were installed, new members welcomed and outgoing Chief Casey Orr, the youngest chief elected in the HCFASs 50-year history was honored.
The Huntington Community First Aid Squad was formed in 1967 as an emergency service with on-duty, in-house crews responding to calls on a 24/7, 365 days a year basis.
“As a firefighter, I know firsthand how important our ambulance corps are and it was an honor to join and thank the volunteer officers and members of the Huntington Community First Aid Squad at their annual installation and inspection dinner,” Legislator Donnelly said. “Day in and day out, they serve the community with a professionalism and dedication that is second to none.”
