MOUNT SINAI, NY – On Saturday, May 4th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker attended the Mount Sinai Fire Department’s Annual Inspection and Installation Dinner at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook. Legislator Anker joined other elected officials in honoring the newly installed officers. Service awards were presented to Stanley Danowski for 55 years; Peter Van Middelem for 35 years; Thomas DiLorenzo for 30 years; Anthony D’Angelo for 25 years; Chief Nicholas Beckman and Michael Loguercio for 20 years; and Nano Bustamante for 5 years.
“It’s an honor to attend this celebration to recognize our volunteers who put their lives at risk to help others,” said Legislator Anker. “I thank them for their continued service and dedication to keep our communities safe.”
