HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. – On Tuesday, June 4th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker congratulated and presented proclamations to Connor Nugent and Zachary Lister, two Brookhaven National Laboratory Science Fair winners from Miller Avenue Elementary School. “My sincerest congratulations to these two incredibly smart and talented students on their hard work and creativity which helps to inspire our future scientists. They have made myself, their families, and teachers very proud,” said Legislator Anker. “I thank BNL for hosting this contest every year.”
Connor Nugent, a kindergartener from Shoreham-Wading River, won at the BNL Science Fair for his science project, “Spaghetti Strength.” Zachary Lister, a second grader from Shoreham-Wading River, also won at the BNL Science Fair for his project, “Slippery Sock Science.”
