Former Chief of Wyandanch Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corp Honored with Street Dedication

Presiding Officer Gregory Presents A Proclamation to the Wife of the Late Chief Thomas Cronogue

WYANDANCH, NY – Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory recently helped celebrate the dedication of the corner of North 18th Street & Merritt Avenue at the Wyandanch Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corp as "Chief Thomas Cronogue Memorial Way".

 

Thomas Cronogue was a lifelong member and former Chief of the Wyandanch Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corp, serving for more than 35 years, as well as a Senior Instructor with Suffolk EMS, a Critical Care EMT, and a retired Nassau County Police Officer. He passed away on July 16, 2018.
