Legislator Flotteron Takes Historic Tour of Historic Fire Island Lighthouse

Fire Island Lighthouse Tour

The Executive Director of The Fire Island Lighthouse Preservation Society Tony Femminella (pictured on left) invited Legislator Steven J. Flotteron to participate in a special day with Bay Shore’s Gardiner Manor Elementary School today. It was great to see the enthusiasm and excitement on the children’s faces as they experienced hands on demonstrations and tour of the historic Lighthouse. Consider coming out and experiencing the history. Visit www.fireislandlighthouse.com for upcoming events and tours.

“The Lighthouse is one of Suffolk County’s treasured destination steeped in history and traditions. I am very fortunate to have the Lighthouse in my Legislative District and hope that my constituents are aware of its importance and make the trip to experience all it has to offer,” said Legislator Flotteron.
