Hauppauge, NY, January 2nd, 2020: On Thursday, January 2nd, The Suffolk County Legislature held it’s annual Organizational Meeting.
Legislator McCaffrey took the Oath of Office alongside his fellow legislators as they all prepared to begin a new year of public service, and for many a new term of office. For Legislator McCaffrey, this is the beginning of his fourth term as Legislator.
After the swearing in by Suffolk County Clerk Judith Pascale, Legislator McCaffrey was joined by his family in the horseshoe for the signing of the book. The signing of the book is the Legislature’s traditional method of calling roll at the beginning of a new year, and for many a new term as Legislator. Legislator McCaffrey is seen signing the book with the assistance of Suffolk County Clerk Judith Pascale.
Legislator McCaffrey represents Suffolk County’s 14th Legislative District which encompasses the Village of Lindenhurst, Babylon Village, the hamlets of West Babylon and North Lindenhurst, portions of Copiague, North Babylon and Babylon’s barrier beach communities.
