March 22, 2021 – In response to the overwhelming demand for the Covid-19 Vaccine, Legislator Leslie Kennedy has launched a district wide Covid-19 Vaccine registration program to help constituents register for the vaccine. Since the program launch on January 11, 2021, there has been constant contact with constituents and calls coming in daily. To date, we are running at a success rate of 82% of people who already have received vaccine appointments.
Suffolk County residents 50 years of age and older can call Legislator Kennedy’s office at 631-854-3735 and pre-register for a COVID vaccine at a Suffolk County Point of Distribution. Legislator Leslie Kennedy and her staff are ready and willing to help, and just ask that you please be patient due to the extremely high volume of phone calls we receive.
For more information about this assistance program or other events in the community, please call our office at (631)-854-3735 or log onto Legislator Kennedy’s Facebook page at facebook.com/legislatorlesliekennedy.
