On Saturday, November 27th, 2021, Legislator McCaffrey paid a visit to local businesses in the Villages of Lindenhurst and Babylon as they participated in Small Business Saturday.
Traditionally held on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday is one of the busiest shopping days of the year. It focuses on shopping small and shopping local, supporting the businesses ran by friends and neighbors, those who give the most back to our communities.
As part of the celebration, Legislator McCaffery paid a visit to C'est La Vie Lindy Boutique in Lindenhurst and Pandemonium Boutique in Babylon! C'est La Vie is owned by Rea Leunes (pictured in top photograph), who also owns PitaBowl and serves as a Programs and Outreach Director with the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce. Pandemonium Boutique is owned by Jacqueline Di Donato (pictured in bottom photograph), who also serves with the Babylon Chamber of Commerce.
Rea and Jacqueline represent a small part of the dozens of fantastic small business owners throughout the Town of Babylon that provide our residents with tremendous products- in addition to sponsoring many of the events, productions, and youth sports leagues we have all grown to love and participate in.
Legislator McCaffrey represents Suffolk County’s 14th Legislative District which encompasses the Village of Lindenhurst, Babylon Village, the hamlets of West Babylon and North Lindenhurst, portions of Copiague, North Babylon and Babylon’s barrier beach communities.
