On Thursday, October 5, 2017, Suffolk County Legislator Kevin McCaffrey attended a Pink Pumpkin Patch Festival at Babylon Town Hall with several colleagues from County and local government.
The purpose of this event was to raise money and support for Breast Cancer Awareness. This is the second year that First Company Pink has held the Pink Pumpkin Patch Festival.
“I was glad to be at the First Company Pink Annual Pink Pumpkin Patch Festival,” said Legislator McCaffrey. “It was a great family event dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer and encouraging people to get checked.”
First Company Pink was founded in April 2010 by Donna Cioffi following her own personal battle with breast cancer. It is committed to raising funds to support lifesaving breast cancer research.
Legislator McCaffrey represents Suffolk County’s 14th Legislative District which encompasses the Village of Lindenhurst, Babylon Village, the hamlets of West Babylon and North Lindenhurst, portions of Copiague, North Babylon and Babylon’s barrier beach communities.
