Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly joined town, county and state elected officials at the annual Half Hollow Hills School District PTA Legislative Breakfast on February 2 at the Fran Greenspan Administrative Building In Dix Hills.
The always-anticipated event, held for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, is presented by the Half Hollow Hills PTA Legislation Committee, co-chaired this year by Lenny Patella and Dina Shulman. The breakfast is an opportunity for students, administrators, teachers and parents from Half Hollow Hills to meet, question and talk with their elected officials in a non-formal, comfortable group setting.
“Youth engagement in government is vitally important,” said Legislator Donnelly. “It was great to once again attend this breakfast, which is a testament to the Half Hollow Hills School District’s efforts to keep its students and the entire community informed and I thank everyone involved for a great morning.”
