Legislator Steven J. Flotteron recently recognized Jack Christopher Wodicka of East Islip with Troop 205 on being their 105th Eagle Scout at his Eagle Court of Honor at the Timber Point Elementary School. Jack’s Service Project, earning him Eagle Scout status, was a renovation of the Great River Memorial Park which included installing a walkway, two large anchors, and solar paneled lights to illuminate the American flag. He also cleaned and much the area and added new flowers. He is currently a junior at East Islip High School where he excels academically, musically playing the trombone and has been a scholar athlete on the varsity boys swim team.
