McCaffrey Joins SCPD Officials to Encourage Residents to Register for the Suffolk County Police Department Exam
HAUPPAUGE, NY—Suffolk County Presiding Officer Kevin McCaffrey (R-Lindenhurst) recently attended a community meeting held to encourage young residents to take a test for becoming a member of the Suffolk County Police Department.
The deadline to register for the test is April 19. The exam will be held on June 17, 2023.
“The Suffolk County Police Department is one of the finest in the nation, and they need new officers to keep our communities safe,” said McCaffrey. “A career in law enforcement is incredibly gratifying, one where every day you go to work you can be saving lives. We hope to see our ranks grow.”
