Suffolk County Legislator Tom Muratore recently attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the much anticipated Ronkonkoma Hub project, to be developed by TRITEC Real Estate.
The hub, a $600 million project encompassing 50 acres, incorporates the principals of sustainable development and excellent design to create a transit-oriented mixed use community complex. Its intentional proximity to the Ronkonkoma Railroad Station, Islip MacArthur Airport and the Long Island Expressway offers convenience for commuters. The goal is to satisfy the unmet needs in the local community with housing, restaurants and other businesses that will create jobs, facilitate economic expansion, increase tax revenues and become a destination location for our region.
“The Ronkonkoma Hub project is a win-win for the community,” stated Legislator Muratore. “My colleagues in town and county government are eager to work alongside TRITEC Real Estate as they construct what will be a huge boost to economic development for Suffolk County.”
