Legislator Sarah Anker Attends Miller Place Fire Department’s 7th Annual EMS Stuff-A-Bus Event

Volunteers gather to help collect nonperishable food items at the Stuff-a-Buss fundraiser.

MILLER PLACE, NY – On Friday, November 17, 2017, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined the Miller Place Fire Department at their 7th Annual EMS Stuff-A-Bus event. The event took place at the Miller Place Stop and Shop where the group collected non-perishable food and personal care items. Members of Marchand’s School of Dance Studio in Miller Place attended the event to lend a helping hand.

“Thank you to the Miller Place Fire Department and Marchand’s School of Dance for helping our neighbors in need,” said Legislator Sarah Anker. “Thanks to the immense generosity of our community, we are able to make this holiday season a little bit brighter for some of our local families.”

The collection will benefit the St. Louis de Montfort Parish Food Pantry in Sound Beach and will help local families in need during the holidays.
