A Greener Future is in the Bag

Effective January 1, 2018 Suffolk County law requires stores to charge customers a minimum fee of 5 cents on carryout bags that are provided at retail stores.  Please visit the Suffolk County Department of Health Services' "Bring Your Own Bag - Keep the Earth Alive" webpage at: http://suffolkcountyny.gov/Departments/HealthServices/PublicHealth/PublicHealthProtection/PlasticBagLaw.aspx for more information on the new law.
