MEDFORD, N.Y. – On April 13 Deputy Presiding Officer Calarco joined hundreds of members of the Patchogue-Medford community to congratulate the 2018 inductees of the Patchogue-Medford Hall of Fame. This year’s new members included teachers, athletes, a world class musician and Sam Stahlman, a World War II veteran of the D-Day Invasion and Purple Heart recipient. Mr. Stahlman was a local businessman, a substitute teacher and a volunteer coach for the high school varsity football team.
“The Patchogue-Medford community is proud of our veterans, and Mr. Stahlman is a shining example of the best of our local residents,” stated Deputy Presiding Officer Rob Calarco. “I am so proud of this year’s inductees and I congratulate them on this honor.”
