Legislator Bridget Fleming was honored to appoint Danielle B. Laibowitz of Southampton to the Suffolk County Women’s Advisory Commission. Danielle will serve as the representative from the Second district.
Danielle is a strong advocate for women and minorities and will be diligent representative on the commission. Danielle holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Master of Laws degree from Touro College. Danielle believes that community engagement is key to building strong communities. She has a long history of volunteering with her local community. Danielle has advocated for victims of domestic violence and abuse with The Retreat, Inc., and is proud to have worked with the Southampton Education Foundation as the President and a Founding Member. She has also done pro bono work for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and is involved with Diabetes Research fundraising.
