Suffolk County Legislator Steven J. Flotteron along
with Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory presented proclamations to scout Michael
Anthony Frick in recognition of earning his Eagle Scout – the highest advancement rank in Boy Scouting. A member of Troop
151, in Islip, Frick organized his fellow scouts to help with his project at
St. John’s Episcopal Church in Oakdale. At the request of the church, he fund
raised and organized the construction of a flagpole including landscaping and
paving blocks and created a beautiful space for Veterans to come and meditate
and reflect.
