Selden, NY – County Legislator Tom Muratore attended the National Night Out event held at Brookhaven Town’s Centereach Pool Complex. Hosted by Councilman Kevin LaValle, National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.“It was a wonderful evening watching children play, local businesses and groups promoting their services and our great Suffolk County Police Department connecting with the community we all serve.” stated Legislator Muratore. “One of the best aspects of being a Legislator is meeting and speaking with constituents. It was a pleasure to visit the pool complex and spend quality time with my constituents,” stated Legislator Muratore. “Many thanks to Councilman Kevin LaValle for inviting me to attend--I look forward to next year’s event!” Muratore added.
