Suffolk County Legislator Tom Muratore joined other elected officials and community leaders at the Ribbon Cutting event for Paws of War at their newly expanded location in Nesconset. Paws of War is a non-profit organization designed to benefit both veterans and rescue dogs. They train and place shelter dogs to serve and provide independence to our U.S. military veterans that suffer from the emotional effects of war.
“As far as I’m concerned, we cannot do enough for our veterans,” stated Legislator Muratore. “Bob Miseri and all the volunteers at Paws of War do a fantastic job of training the rescue dogs to become service animals for our veteran population in need of emotional support. I thank them for their efforts serving our local heroes.”
