Wyandanch, NY – Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory was on hand at the Wyandanch Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corporation’s 37th Annual Installation Dinner Dance to celebrate the service of former members and to welcome new leadership.

At the event, held on Friday, Jan. 18 at the Larkfield Manor in East Northport, Presiding Officer Gregory presented proclamations to the families of Sgt. Robert Brooks and Ex-Chief Thomas Cronogue, who were posthumously honored for their years of service to the department.

“It was truly an honor to be a part of acknowledging and celebrating the lives of Robert Brooks and Thomas Cronogue, two men who spent their lives valiantly serving their community,” said Presiding Officer Gregory. “The dedicated leadership displayed by the brave men and women who volunteer to put their lives on the line for our protection and safety on a daily basis is truly worthy of recognition.”
