Legislator Steven J.
Flotteron honored Eagle Scout Brendon Hobbes at his Court of Honor at St.
Patrick’s Catholic Church in Bay Shore. Hobbes has been a member of Troop 153
in Bay Shore for more than seven years. During this time he has actively
participated in many service projects and fundraisers. “He has served his troop
as a patrol leader as well as continuing to learn many valuable skills to take
with him throughout his life as an example to others”, said Legislator
Flotteron.
Hobbes earned his Eagle
Scout with a project he built of four raised garden beds where residents of
Monfort Spiritual Center in Bay Shore can plant and raise flowers and
vegetables.
