Public ParticipationCommittee meetings of the Suffolk County Legislature will be held from February 28th – March 3rd to tee up proposed legislation for consideration at the next general meeting on March 8th. Meetings will be live-streamed at www.scnylegislature.us.
The legislature has resumed in-person public attendance and in-person public comment at legislative meetings held at the William H. Rogers Legislature Building. In accordance with county and state COVID-19 safety protocols, members of the public who wish to provide in-person testimony may do so regardless of vaccination status. Those interested in addressing the legislature via Zoom may sign up to speak by filling out a speaker card.
Those interested in addressing legislators at a committee meeting over Zoom may sign up at www.scnylegislature.us/CommitteePublicPortion. Members of the public may also send written testimony by email to clerk.legislature@suffolkcountyny.gov or by regular mail to the attention of the Clerk's Office at the Suffolk County Legislature P.O. Box 6100, Hauppauge, NY 11788. Audio testimony will be accepted by voicemail at 631-853-3685; callers may leave a 3-minute message. Submitted comments will be distributed to legislators.
